About Restore My Counters
The specialist, not the side job.
Most stone restoration companies do floors, showers, lobbies, and, when there's time, a countertop. We flipped that. Countertops are the entire business: the training, the tools, the products, and every hour of the workday.
Why only countertops
A kitchen island is not a lobby floor. It's the surface in the house that gets the most use, the most acid, the most heat, and the most attention, and it gets restored with different pads, different chemistry, and a different eye than a floor does. A crew that's set up for floors treats your counter as an afterthought squeezed in between bigger jobs.
We're set up for the counter. Marble, granite, quartzite, and engineered quartz, in kitchens, bathrooms, outdoor kitchens, and the bars, vanities, and reception desks of commercial properties. No floors, no replacements. When a top can't be saved, we say so and point you to a fabricator.
Where we came from
Restore My Counters was built by a Southwest Florida surface restoration operator who's been fixing what other people wanted to rip out since 2011. That started with bathtubs: Bathtub Pros, more than eleven thousand tubs refinished and repaired across Southwest Florida since 2013.
Stone came the way it usually does. Customers with a refinished tub asked about the marble vanity next to it. Then the granite in the kitchen. Then the quartzite island that was never supposed to etch and did. Years of that, on real counters in real homes, is where this business started.
The name is on the truck now because the demand was already there.
What we use
Tenax Proseal and Proseal Nano for sealing. The Tenax Tefill system for chips. Tenax consumables on the machines. MB Stone Care powders and polishes for the finish work. Tenax is one of the largest names in the stone trade for a reason: the results are consistent and repeatable, job after job, and it's what stone manufacturers themselves recommend. We first came to it through Marmol and never had a reason to leave.
What we don't use: anything from the hardware-store polish aisle. Those are toppers.
How we work
Send a photo. You get your own counter back with the damage gone, plus what's actually wrong with it in plain English, plus what we'd do. Before anyone comes out.
We test before we touch. A lot of stone sold as quartzite isn't. A lot of "granite" is marble. We identify the stone on site and tell you what you actually have, because the fix depends on it.
We tell you what won't work. Some heat marks on quartz are permanent. Some stains have gone too deep. A crack through the slab is a fabricator's job. You hear that from the photo, not after a visit.
Then we make the photo real. Diamond abrasives in steps, coarse to fine, until the finish is rebuilt from the stone itself. Stains drawn out. Chips filled and color-matched. Then sealed. Nothing coated, nothing that wears off.

Southwest Florida, year-round: Naples, Marco Island, Bonita Springs, Estero, Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Sanibel, Fort Myers Beach, Punta Gorda, Port Charlotte, Lehigh Acres, North Port and Venice, and Sarasota.
The Upper and Middle Keys, in summer from Marathon: Key Largo, Tavernier, Islamorada, Duck Key, and Marathon. Resort and property accounts in the Keys are served year-round by arrangement.
